I created the Firefighter Furnace HERO Elite Training Program to do my part in eliminating the growing issue of heart disease and obesity within our firefighter community. Our goal is to help anyone who struggles with weight, body fat, strength and performance by giving you the only tool you need to reach elite firefighter fitness. HERO Elite was not designed to help you reach a small goal just for you to go right back into the same routine. Our mission is to provide you with an advanced firefighter training program that wont only help you with on-scene performance but with help pave the way for complete health and wellness. How it Works
When you sign up, you will receive instructions on how to download the Train Heroic App where we host HERO Elite. All you have to do is input your automatically generated code and you’re in!
You will then be directed to where you can get your free 12-week HERO Nutrition guide as our gift to you.
And then we will be in constant communication inside our private community. If you ever get lost, have questions or need support, you have a group of people to turn to who “get” you.
All this for less than $1 a day (It’s less than what you spend on the snack fridge)
Daily Workout Sample
HERO Elite is delivered to you via Train Heroic App. App comes with video tutorials as well as a leader board for each workout.
1. Coach’s Instructions
I want everyone to really focus on form today. Then for the stamina WOD, try to move at a moderate but consistent pace. Remember, smooth is fast
2. Warm Up
2 rounds:
- 10 dowel pass throughs
- 10 walking lunges
- 10 groiners
- 5 push ups
- 5 jumping pull ups
3. Strength/Stamina – Bench/Pull Ups
Complete 5 rounds with 3 min rest between each round:
- Max bench press @body weight
- right into
- Max pull ups without letting go of the bar
Notes: Use a spotter and really work to failure. Be sure to warm up slowly and work up to your body weight. Modify if needed. Your score us accumulated reps for all rounds.
4. Stamina – “Job’n”
5 rounds for time:
- 5 burpees over dumbbell
- 10 alternating dumbbell snatches
- 15m waiters carry (Right Side)
- 5 burpees over dumbbell
- 10 alternating dumbbell snatches
- 15m waiters carry (Left SIde)
- 50/35lb dumbbells
Notes: 20 paces is approximately 15m. The whole list is one round. Post time to leader board
5. Recovery
- Walk for 4 minutes or until you catch your breatth
- Chest stretch – 1 min each side
- Dead hang from bar – accumulate 2 min

What Kind of Exercises?
I understand what kind of strength and endurance it takes to be a firefighter. I incorporated different exercises that will not only help you with on-scene performance but pave the way to improving your quality of life. We incorporate traditional style lifting with a mix cardio and functional fitness to help keep you ready for any situation you may face.

What Equipment Will I Need?
We don’t use machines, we build them. That being said, the only equipment you will need it a barbell, weights, dumbbells, a bench, a place to run and do pull ups. The basics are the basics for a reason, they work. We also understand that not all fire departments have every piece of equipment out there.

What If I Don't Have Time?
You have to make fitness a priority if you want to become a more effective firefighter for your community. That being said, we also understand that it takes time and commitment. We post our workouts a week in advance so you can modify your training schedule around your unique schedule. We understand everyone’s schedule is different, that’s why we made it easy to follow so you don’t miss a session.
