We are going to slow it down today and do some traditional strength training
Strength – Back Squat (pause for 5 seconds at the bottom)
5×5
- go lighter and focus on form and core
- keep a tight core and take 3 deep breaths at the bottom
rest 4 min
Bench Press
5×5
- Use a spotter and go for a moderate to heavy weight
- be sure to warm up shoulders well
rest 3 min
Weighted Pull ups
5×5
- go as heavy as possible
- if you do not have a belt, use a dumbbell between feet
rest 3 min
Core – weighted planks
5×45 sec on and 1 min off
- use either a 25 or 45lb plate on lower back
